The history behind Dickinson Service Center starts with Danny Dickinson, over twenty five years ago. He is the founder of our auto repair and service shop and is the one that sparked our journey back in 1994. Ever since then we have stayed a family owned and operated a business with close-knit ties to our community. Now that the years have passed, our community knows it can depend on us for professional auto care and a friendly service. Today you can find Danny’s son, Darren Dickinson, running the shop and being the man in charge. Darren has a deep passion for vehicles and makes sure that each vehicle that goes through his shop receives the quality of work he would show his own. This passion and attention to detail are what allows us to feel so confident in the services we provide. When you come from a history of providing great services, it’s hard to see any other option. The facility we currently are operating out of is located at 3628 NC Hwy. 127, South Hickory, NC 28602. This is not the original shop we started out but the time came in which we deemed it necessary to relocate. We moved to this location, for one main reason, to give our customers a spacious and relaxing waiting area in which they felt comfortable. We strongly believe that the atmosphere of a shop really matters and we want to optimize ours to fit our customers. This facility is also now home to twelve auto bays in which our professionals do what they do best, give quality auto service. This high number of bays we have not only means that we are able to assist more people, but it also means that we are able repair or service your vehicle more rapidly.
